Scholarships

The Camp Crystal Lake Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to families who would like to attend summer camp who have a financial need. An application to attend summer camp should be submitted prior to submitting a scholarship application. Scholarships are based on the availability of funds that are provided through charitable donations. The number of scholarships awarded varies each year depending on available funds. Scholarships are awarded for only one week. 

There are two scholarship options:

• A 90% scholarship based on the current tuition rate for one week.
• A 50% scholarship based on the current tuition rate for one week. 

Full scholarships are not available. Our goal is to create a “buy-in” from families to lower the overall burden of paying for summer camp. This will enable Camp Crystal to offer more families a little assistance to lessen the financial strain. Scholarship percentages are based on the current tuition rate and are subject to change.

Scholarship applications are available to all families who apply for summer camp. Scholarship applications are accessible via the link below. Forms can be completed online or printed and completed and emailed back to the Camp Crystal Lake Registrar at crystal@gm.sbac.edu. Scholarship applications must be submitted by the deadline to be eligible for scholarship consideration.

• Completed scholarship application due by December 15th 2023.

A committee will review all applications that are submitted by the scholarship application deadline. Applicants will be notified if they have been awarded a scholarship. Preference will be given to residents of Alachua County.
